Tampa, FL, October 26, 2009 — IPVision Software, the innovator in highly scalable, cost-effective IP video surveillance systems, introduced the Virtual Video Recorder™ (VVR™) and announced and the appointment of Mark Kolar to the position of executive vice president, strategic alliances and corporate strategy. The VVR introduction marks a significant milestone in the IP video surveillance industry by eliminating the need for costly, compute-intensive servers used as video recorders. As a network and physical security executive, Kolar’s appointment serves to underscore the compelling value of IPVision Software’s technology.

Mr Kolar also acted as CEO, CTO, and co-founder for several high-tech startups.
